| Installation | 1. Split-type GM oil seals are manufactured to custom dimensions. |
| 2. When installing, first assemble the oil seal joint, then carefully install the GM oil seal onto the shaft with wooden tools. | |
| 3. The split joint of the oil seal must always face upward (12 o'clock position of a clock). | |
| 4. On-site cutting of the oil seal length is not recommended. | |
| 5. When using GM oil seals, axial positioning must be done with a suitable pressure plate. | |
