Product Features

Product Definition and Core Application: Water seal is an axial lip type seal made of pure rubber material, which is commonly used for axial end face sealing of the roll neck of metallurgical machinery rolls.

Fixing and Sealing Principle: The water seal is fixed on the journal of the rotating shaft by the clamping tension of its main body on the journal, and at the same time, the sealing pair formed by the flexibility of its lip and the tightening force on the sealing end face is used to realize the sealing function.

Core Protection Function: Prevent water and impurities from entering the roll bearing housing during the operation of the roll, so as to protect the roll bearing and meet the requirements of normal operation of the device.

Auxiliary Sealing Mechanism: The water seal uses the fluid centrifugal force generated by the external cooling water during the rotation process to block the impurities and dust in the cooling water outside the bearing housing, and at the same time prevent the grease inside the sealing cavity from leaking.

Common Product Classification: Common water seals are divided into six models: VA, VS, VL, VE, VAX, RME.

Common Manufacturing Materials: The commonly used materials are nitrile rubber and fluoro rubber.
